Background

The name “Tlou” was derived from a huge animal representing the Ndebele tribe. Since the founder (Mr SL kekana) was one of the Ndebele clan and optimistic that like Tlou, the company will provide extensive services to its clients. He came to conclusion that Tlou Integrated Tech will be adequate name for the company. Tlou Integrated Tech is a company providing civil engineering consulting, project management and waste management. The company has offices in Pretoria (Gauteng), Polokwane (Limpopo) and Mahikeng (Northwest).

The idea of forming this company was conceived by its founder while furthering his studies at Technikon Pretoria. Mismanagement, low quality of work resulting to the unsatisfactory of the clients and inadequate professionalism of some civil engineering and construction firms, were some of the main reasons that pursued Mr. Kekana to start the firm. The professional approach he has adopted since inception has borne fruits in 2002, the company underwent metamorphic growth to vigorously encompassing all construction work, project management, industrial building, houses, offices, civil engineering work etc. 

Tlou Integrated Tech is an independent company and the shareholders are also employees of the company. Shareholders hold no shares in any equipment, supplier or contracting company, this ensures impartial advice to the clients.

It is Black-majority owned, administered and controlled, but this in no way suggests that this is one of the “we can go it alone” schemes. Instead, we endeavour to draw skill, expertise and experience from the nation itself, the rainbow as it may be.

While sustaining the miraculous political changes achieved recently, it is equally important that the economic revolution is also advanced. Tlou Integrated Tech is committed in providing its clients with superior service as they embark on transforming themselves to adapt to the new environment. In pursuit of wealth creation, the business community can and should at the same time, contribute to the creation and maintenance of social harmony.
